Description:
The Interior Fit-Up for Smith Petrie Carr & Scott’s new Ottawa office is located on the 6th floor of 359 Kent St., formerly known as the “Legion Building”. The existing low floor to ceiling height informed the design decision to create a light filled and open office environment. To increase the perception of space most of the existing ceiling was removed. The newly revealed mechanical systems and other base building elements were then painted out in muted colours to allow the warm palette of the specially selected wood accents and other interior finishes to convey Smith Petrie Carr & Scott’s unique corporate vision.
