Description:
The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital services approximately 44,000 residents of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville areas with sites in the towns of Perth and Smiths Falls. Erskine Dredge & Associates is the prime consultant for the redevelopment initiative of the Smiths Falls site. The hospitals master plan calls for 4,738 SQ M of new construction and extensive renovations throughout the current site.
The redevelopment plan calls for the demolition of the 1904 wing, extensive renovations throughout the remainder of the hospital building and the construction of a new two-storey wing. This new addition to the hospital will become the state-of-the-art home for Diagnostic Imaging, Ambulatory Care, Medical and Surgical, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inpatient Unit, Surgical Suite and ICU.
