Description:
Located on the Gatineau River and adjacent to the Wakefield Steam Train Line, this country home is reminiscent of the traditional community railway stations that dotted the Gatineau Hills in the last century. The steep roofline encloses the second floor and offers a protected overhang for the wrap-around porch with dormers for the second floor rooms facing the railway. The waterside of the home which is set into a steep hill sloping down to the water, is extensively glazed providing panoramic views of the surrounding river and hills.
